San Luis Obispo, CA – 2017
Precision served as the General Contractor for The Pad Climbing, the premier climbing & fitness provider on the central coast of California. In order to meet the design requirements of the world’s largest climbing wall manufacturer, Walltopia, Precision had to raise the building roof by 15 feet, which required an entirely new structural steel framing system. The total footprint of the structure is 8,000 SF and consists of a reception area, a lounge and break room, locker rooms with showers, a bouldering area, a roped climbing area, cross–fit area, weight room, two yoga studios and a standalone training area on the third story mezzanine.
The project was completed on time and on budget. The climbing wall manufacturer was so impressed by Precision’s ability to manage the project that it requested to use Precision for all of its projects in North America.
