Precision Director of Field Personnel and team member Gary Linowski was subcontracted to self-perform the rehabilitation of fifteen historic Curry Village wood and log sided cabins. These buildings are included in the Curry Village historic district. Mr. Linowski worked closely with the Historic Architect and preservation team to carefully select, refurbish, and preserve existing building materials. A majority of the wood siding and logs were preserved and re-installed during the rehabilitation process. The cabins structures were lifted, shored, and new foundations were placed beneath. Constructability challenges with the foundations were encountered during Phase I of the project. Mr. Linowski and team were able to assist the Architect with re-designing the structural steel and concrete, while keeping the project on schedule. Additional Precision employees involved with this project include the Superintendent, Mr. Jerry Troyna, and the Project Manager Mr. Ulysses McKeown.
