Precision is excited to announce our newest addition to the team, Jennifer Hiatt. Jennifer will be representing Precision as a Project Manager based out of Los Angeles. Her background will undoubtedly add value to our team as we look to perform more Design-Build work and expand and enhance our client relationships.

“I’m excited to continue my construction education as a Project Manager. There is never a shortage of surprises on a job site, especially in retrofit construction, and I’m eager to contribute to the solutions.”

Jennifer’s prior experience complements the work she will conduct as a Project Manager for Precision. After graduating from the Architectural Engineering Department from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, she went on to become a Licensed Professional Engineer (Structural and Civil). For almost ten years, she worked as a Structural Engineer in the Long Beach area where she completed over 200 structural building evaluations and completed traditional engineering designs for a variety of new construction and seismic retrofit projects, especially in the K-12 and Higher Education market sectors. Most recently, she has been a Project Manager for the past two years for a fully integrated real estate development, general construction and construction management company based in Marina Del Rey, California. Her knowledge and wide breadth of experience, will greatly enhance the services that Precision offers, and we are so thrilled to have her on board.

When we asked Jennifer what led her to join Precision, this is what she had to say: “I appreciate the diverse types of projects that Precision pursues–everything from ground-up construction to complex remodels to new technology advancements. I’m hoping that my career background as a licensed Structural Engineer and Owner’s Representative will add valuable perspective to a growing company. Plus, representing a company based in the same town as my alma mater is an honor.”

Jennifer has a love for traveling and experiencing the world. When she isn’t at work, she enjoys everything outdoors from disc golf, dancing, and skiing, to using her creativity inside to paint and bake. She and her husband are eager to share the world’s joy with their young daughter when it is deemed safe.
