Introducing Libby Banse-Fay, Precision’s New Project Engineer

Precision Construction Services welcomes Libby Banse-Fay to the team as a Project Engineer. Libby’s  role will support the company’s project managers to facilitate and manage ongoing work in the pre-construction planning and construction phases of the project.

Libby previously worked as a Structural Engineering Intern at Gessner Engineering in College Station, Texas. Her tasks included drafting and designing foundations, framing design, and site visits/inspections. Over her career, she has worked on some notable commercial projects, such as the Texas A&M Transportation Institute State Headquarters, RELLIS Campus Infrastructure, UHD Science and Technology Building, and SHSU Golf Training Center/Steele Golf Facility.

Adam Strauss, Project Manager at Precision Construction Services, is happy to have Libby and the knowledge and experience she brings to the team. “Libby has been a huge asset to our team.  She has jumped right in and has taken the lead on several tasks including project monthly reports, direct costs, submittals, RFIs, owner meetings, and more.  She always has a smile and is eager to learn the business.”  

Libby is equally as excited to join the Precision team, stating: “I feel so lucky to be working for such an amazing company that’s filled with such passionate, caring people. It has only been a short while that I’ve worked for Precision, but I have learned so much and am eager to keep learning!”

When not at work, Libby spends time running, cooking, and enjoying the sunshine of San Luis Obispo. On the weekends, you can usually find her camping, visiting her friends in the Bay area, or enjoying some of the great shows that comes to San Luis Obispo!
